Titans vs Jaguars Bovada NFL Player Prop Bet Trends

Tennessee Titans Betting Trends

Over the last 2 seasons player prop bets on the Titans show a strong lean to the under (10 over & 32 under)

Marcus Mariota (4 overs & 12 under)

Running Backs (3 overs & 5 under)

Wide Receivers (2 overs & 10 under)

Tight Ends (1 over & 5 under)

Jaguars Prop Betting Trends

Over the last 2 seasons the the Jaguars player props have a slight lean to the under (16 over & 24 under with 1 push). The quarters were Codey Kessler & Blake Bortles, both of whom will not be playing but the underestimation by the betting public has lead to some soft lines for the Jags QB’s. One bet that really stands out is the under on Jags running backs vs the Titans as Tennessee has made a strong effort to take the running back out of the game and make the quarterback beat them.

Quarterbacks (10 over & 7 under)

Running Backs (0 over & 10 under)

Wide Receivers (5 over & 5 under)

Tight Ends (1 over & 2 under & 1 push)

Titans vs Jaguars Betting Predictions:

The Jaguars finally had a quarterback! And now he is gone. So sad, yet sort of predictable considering Nick Foles career. But, now it is the Gardner Minshew era! One thing about him is that he still is a better quarterback than Blake Bortles. When the Titans play the Jags they concentrate on shutting down the running game (RB props 0 overs & 10 unders) and then make the quarterback beat them. Minshew should have a chance to make a couple of big plays but I do not see him sestaining many drives against the Titans. For Tennessee, the key will be getting the running game going. The Jags have done a good job shutting down the Titans passing game and Thursdays game should be no different.

Both teams should be able to score enough points to get the game into the 40+ range and that will be enough to cover the total. Always remember that when betting totals, interceptions can lead to a pick six or a short field for the offense and that should be the case in this game. A slight lean to Tennessee but no bet on the Titans.

Bet: Over 39.5

Score Prediction: Titans 24 – Jags 23

Titans vs Jaguars Player Prop Picks:

By checking the prop betting trends between these two teams it is an obvious under game. However, there is one contrarian play I do like. Taking Minshew to go over 1.5 touchdowns. With my bet on the under and the trends on the under then it may seem strange but, there is a good reason for this. The Titans will stack the line to stop the running game. If the Jags do score a couple of touchdowns they will have to do it passing. The two touchdowns may have a combined yardage of less than 10 but they still count.
