Seattle Seahawks Betting Preview
The Seahawks pulled off a narrow 27-24 win over the Cardinals last week. Russell Wilson struggled to the tune of just 152 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The Seahawks rank dead last in passing attempts per game with just 26.7. This is down from 34.7 per game last season, which was right in the middle of the league at 16th place. However, Wilson finish with 35 passing touchdowns, tied for 3rd most in the league.
Chris Carson finished with three consecutive 100-yard games and seven rushing touchdowns over his last seven games. Carson hasn’t been involved much in the passing game so it is a bit concerning if the Seahawks fall behind. Mike Davis will get more playing time if the Seahawks fall behind and need to pass to get back in the game.
The Seahawks pass so few times in a game, it’s hard to trust any of receiver to have a big day. Tyler Lockett and Doug Baldwin should get the few targets that are available. Tyler Lockett has just one 100-yard game all season and never had more than five receptions in a game.
Seahawks Prop Betting Picks
Russell Wilson Passing Yards UNDER 235.5 (-108)
Russell Wilson Rushing Yards UNDER 22.5 (-108)
Chris Carson Rushing Yards UNDER 73.5 (-108)
Tyler Locket Receiving Yards OVER 59.5 (-118)
Doug Baldwin Receiving Yards UNDER 54.5 (-108)
David Moore Receiving Yards OVER 22.5 (-118)
Dallas Cowboys Betting Preview
Last week Dak Prescott lead the Cowboys to a 36-35 win over the Giants. Prescott threw for four touchdowns and 387 yards. The Seahawks have been above average against the pass this season so this isn’t the easiest matchup on paper for Prescott. When these two teams met in the season, they held Prescott to 168 passing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. However, Amari Cooper wasn’t on the team and the passing game is now much different.
Ezekiel Elliott ran all over this Seahawks team in the regular season for 127 yards on just 16 carries. He also saw a team-high eight targets in that game but caught just three of them.
Amari Cooper can be a boom or bust play each week. Cooper saw a team-high 11 targets last week but caught just five of them for 31 yards. Since his 10 catch, 217 receiving yards abd 3 touchdown game he’s posted 32 yards, 20 yards and 31 yard games.
Michael Gallup and Cole Beasley are not going to scare anyone. Blake Jarwin is coming off a three-touchdown game, but he came into the game with no touchdowns for the season.
Cowboys Prop Betting Picks
Dak Prescott Passing Yards OVER 238.5 (-118)
Dak Prescott Rushing Yards UNDER 16.5 (-108)
Ezekiel Elliot Rushing Yards OVER 92.8 (-118)
Amari Cooper Receiving Yards OVER 64.5 (-118)
Seahawks vs Cowboys Betting Prediction:
The game features two of my favorite quarterbacks in Russell Wilson & Dak Prescott. In this one, Prescott has a much better supporting cast and is at home. I like a good hard hitting game with the Cowboys pulling away in the second half and covering the spread. In fact, I am also taking an alternate spread bet on the Cowboys for a little bump up in my return.
