Bears Betting Preview

Aaron Rodgers is going up against the top ranked defense in the league. Rodgers threw for two touchdowns last week in a win over the Falcons. However, Rodgers has struggle against decent defenses this season. In his last eight games, Rodgers hasn’t thrown for more than two touchdowns and has surpassed 300-yards just twice. The Bears pass rush should be able to get to Rodgers today. I just think there is at least one if not two interceptions to be had by the Bears defense.

Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams are splitting time on the field with Jones getting 42 snaps last week and Williams getting 24. Jones rushed 17 times for 78 yards and a touchdown. But, that production was against an Atlanta defense that is not in the same league as the Bears.

Davante Adams will get his targets but will anyone else? Adams has done well against the better defenses and there is no reason for him not to today. Randall Cobb is back and while he wont get the targets that Adams gets. Aaron Rodgers trusts him in the red zone so he is a viable touchdown threat. The Bears lost slot cornerback Bryce Callahan for the season which will help out Cobb’s target share.

Packers Prop Bet Picks

Aaron Rodgers Passing Yards UNDER 260.5 (-110)

Aaron Jones Rushing Yards UNDER 61.5 (-108)

Davante Adams Receiving Yards OVER 85.5 (-115)

Jimmy Graham Receiving Yards UNDER 33.5 (-110)

Chicago Bears Betting Preview

Last week Mitchell Trubisky threw for just 110 yards, one touchdown and had three interceptions. But this week he goes against a below average Green Bay defense. I like him to bounce back and have a decent showing. I really like his upside on running the ball.

Tarik Cohen had 30 snaps to Jordan Howards 39 last week. Howard rushed 19 times for 101 yards against the Rams. The Packers have been awful against the run this season so I look for Howard to out snap Cohen again this week.

Allen Robinson had eight targets last week and he should be able to get open against this Packers secondary. The rest of the receivers; Trey Burton, Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller are too hit and miss each week. Lets face it. Trubisky is not an accurate thrower so in a game were the Bears should be able to run the ball I just don’t expect anyone to get a lot of targets outside of Robinson.

Bears Prop Bet Picks

Mitchell Trubisky Rushing Yards OVER 27.5 (-115)

Jordan Howard Rushing Yards OVER 61.5 (-115)

Packers vs Bears Game Pick

The Bears won as a 3 ½ point underdog last week, which means that they have now covered the spread in 6 of their last 7 games. They also ended up on the winning side of things in the 6 games that they covered. The Bears are 5-0 ATS as a home favorite this season.

Betting Pick: Bears -5.5

Score Prediction: Bears 28 – Packers 20
