Cleveland Browns Betting Preview
Baker Mayfield is still a rookie but last week he did have a good day with 18 completions on 22 attempts for 238 yards. He has lead the lowly Browns to a 5-7-1 record and even a little talk about playoffs. However, I do not like him against the Broncos. If you look below at his prop betting results this season you will see he has been a strong under play on completions and rushing yards. Look for both trends to continue today in what I have as a game the Browns will need to run the ball to have a chance to win.
Nick Chubb ran for 66 yards on 13 carries and caught four passes last week. If the Browns are going to move the ball then Chubb will need to touch the ball 20+ times. Like him to go over 100 yards combined rushing yards and receiving yards.
Jarvis Landry may get the attention but Mayfield connected with eight different receivers on just eighteen completions and Chubb was his number one target. Not a lot to like about any particular Browns receiver.
Browns Prop Bet Picks
Total Receptions – Antonio Callaway (CLE) UNDER 3 (-115)
Total Receptions – Jarvis Landry (CLE) UNDER 5 (-115)
Total Completions – Baker Mayfield (CLE) UNDER 22.5 (-115)
Total Rushing And Receiving Yards – Nick Chubb (CLE) OVER 102.5 (-115)
Total Receiving Yards – Nick Chubb (CLE) OVER 22.5 (-115)
Denver Broncos Betting Preview
Case Keenum completed just 24 of his 42 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers last week. This week he goes against the Browns funnel defense. They rank among the league’s best in pass defense, but are poor against the run. So far this season Case Keenum has been a money maker if you have been betting the under on passing yards and rushing yards.
If the Denver running backs are going to explode this season, this is the game. Phillip Lindsay had just 30 rushing yards last week. Royce Freeman had 6 carries for 36 yards. Lindsay is the better receiving back and should be on the field more.
Last week Courtland Sutton had two catches for sixteen yards. Denzel Ward is questionable with a concussion so Sutton might be the guy again. There really isn’t much talent at wide receiver or at tight end so the running backs should see a lot of targets in a low score and close game.
Broncos Prop Betting Picks
Total Receiving Yards – Courtland Sutton (DEN) UNDER 52.5 (-115)
Total Receiving Yards – Desean Hamilton (DEN) UNDER 40.5 (-115)
Total Receiving Yards – Phillip Lindsay (DEN) OVER 19.5 (-115)
Total Passing Yards – Case Keenum (DEN) UNDER 229.5 (-115)
Total Rushing Yards – Phillip Lindsay (DEN) OVER 80.5 (-115)
Total Rushing And Receiving Yards – Phillip Lindsay (DEN) OVER 99.5 (-115)

Browns vs Broncos Betting Prediction
The matchup favors a low scoring and close game. Both head coaches should call game scripts with this in mind. While the Browns do have an edge in the running game, the Broncos are at home and Baker Mayfield is still a rookie. In a game that should have more field goals than touchdowns I am taking the Broncos to pull away late in the game and cover.
