Pittsburgh Steelers
NFL Player Prop Bet Preview

Against the Ravens a few weeks ago Ben was 27 of 47 for 274 yards with a touchdown and an interception in a 26-14 loss at home. Ben has not been great on the road and Baltimore is ranked 6th in DVOA against the pass. Not a great combo and I really do not see this game as a shootout so I don’t see Ben needing to throw for a lot of yards. At running back James Conner has been good, but this week he will be in a matchup against a Baltimore defense that ranks 5th in DVOA against the run this season. When these two met earlier Conner was held to just 19 yards on 9 carries. At receiver,  Antonio Brown had a big night against the Ravens last time with 6 receptions for 74 yards and two touchdowns. Juju Smith-Schuster is getting targets but when Ben needs a play he will force the ball to Brown but he won’t to Juju. The tight end position is divided between Vance McDonald with 63% of the snaps and Jesse James with 44%. This means it is a crap shoot on who gets the one or two passes that give him a decent yardage day.

Steelers Prop Bet Picks

Antonio Brown pass receptions over 6½ (-105)

Joe Flacco is tied with Andrew Luck for the most pass attempts in the league this season with 342. However, he is 30th in yards per attempt. This short passing game mentality should continue against Pittsburgh. At running back, Alex Collins was unable to practice on Thursday and the Ravens do have a lot of depth at running back so even if he does go I would not take any action on him. At receiver, Michael Crabtree leads the team with 69 targets, but John Brown and Willie Snead are tied at 61 each. This is an example of how well Flacco has shared the wealth. John Brown is the most likely receiver to break a big one and get his yardage total. Snead doesn’t have the name recognition of Crabtree and that helps him stay underrated.

Ravens Prop Bet Picks

Joe Flacco attempts over 38½ (-115)

John Brown pass receptions over 3½ (-125)

Willie Snead  receiving yards over 44½ (-115)
