The Los Angeles Rams are the NFL’s lone undefeated team at the midway point of the season. This game will be the biggest test of the season going on the road to play the Saints in the dome. The Saints got a little revenge for last seasons playoff loss and beat the Vikings 30-20 last week.
A note: I am using Sportsbetting.ag odds for these bets. This is my favorite sportsbook to use when I like over bets. They have several over options for each betting event and I like the ability to “blend” my bets. Take a look for yourself if you have never used Sportsbetting.ag before and see what I mean. Prop Bet Preview
Jared Goff didn’t have a great game last week but still had 3 touchdown passes without any interceptions. That gives you an idea of just what kind of season he is having. The Saints have been one of the worst teams in football in terms of defending the pass and I expect the Rams to come out throwing the ball non-stop. Against the run the Saints have a top defense so far this season. Running back Todd Gurley will get his yards but I expect them to be very pass receiving heavy. What the lack of rushing touches mean is he is less likely to be the touchdown maker but will still get plenty of action. At receiver the Rams just have too many guys. Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp or Brandin Cooks. Who will get his yards in this game. I think at least two of the three will go over 100 yards receiving. I just don’t see a lot of production at the tight end position because the wide receivers should be open downfield. I am not putting much stock in rushing yards in this game but I am all in on passing and receiving yards.

NFL Player Prop Bet Preview
Last week Drew Brees was just 18 of 23 throws for just 120 yards with a touchdown and a pick. That was last week. This week the Saints will need to score 30+ points to win and at home Drew Brees will need to carry this team in a high scoring shootout. At running back Alvin Kamara came down with an illness during the week, but is expect to be able to play. Mark Ingram and Kamara can be frustrating as I try to pick out which one will go off each week. If Kamara is not 100% for the game then lean to Ingram to get the rushing yardage and touchdowns. If both play, I lean to Kamara and a pass heavy Saints offense. At receiver, Michael Thomas leads the team with 64 targets this season. I expect 10+ targets this week as Brees is going to need to force the ball a few times and he is the one that Brees will be looking for to get a big play. A guy I like to also have a big week is tight end Benjamin Watson. Watson didn’t have a target last week in Minnesota, but he has been pretty steadily involved in this offense all year long.
