“Minneapolis Miracle”? No, for me it was a nightmare. I had the Saints money line in that one. New season but it still should be a close and entertaining game to watch.
Drew Brees has 13 scoring passes and zero interceptions for a league-leading passer rating (121.6). Receiver Michael Thomas is tied for third in the league with 53 catches for 588 yards and four touchdowns. Adam Thielen joined Charley Hennigan as the only players in league history to have at least 100 yards in each of the first seven games of the season.

Saints Prop Bet Preview

Drew Brees in his three road starts this season has three, zero and two touchdown passes. At running back the riches of having two top backs makes it difficult for prop betting. Who will be the guy this week? Alvin Kamara rushed 17 times for 64 yards and a touchdown last week, but he played just 55% of the snaps. Mark Ingram was in on 49% of the snaps. At receiver Michael Thomas over his last three games has had just four, four and seven recptions. Xavier Rhodes is injured but I still expect him to play in this game and that could further reduce the targets to Thomas. This should open things up for Tre’Quan Smith and I like him to go over 70 receiving yards. At tight end Ben Watson is only playing on roughly 50% of the team’s snaps.

Saints Prop Bet Picks

Drew.Brees pass completions over 26½ (-110)

Drew.Brees TD passes over 2 (-110)

Drew.Brees passing yards over 321(-116)

Tre’Quan Smith receiving yards over 60 (-116)

Tre’Quan Smith receiving yards over 75 (+133)

Minnesota Vikings Prop Bet Preview

Kirk Cousins has multiple touchdowns in five of his seven games and this week he will go against a Saints pass defense that ranks as one of the worst in the NFL. At running back Latavius Murray should get plenty of touches in a game I expect to stay close. At receiver the most underrated WR in the NFL, Adam Thielen just keeps on producing with 100-yard games. It helps that he leads the NFL with 91 targets this season. Stefon Diggs led the team with 15 targets last week and as we saw in the playoffs he is definitely capable of hitting a big play against the Saints.. At tight end, Kyle Rudolph just doesn’t get the targets to see a big upside for him..
