I am using odds from Sportsbetting.ag online sportsbook. A note about the odds. Ties win. If the odds are over 83 yards and the player ends up right on 83 then the bet is a winner. I may be adding more picks as other sportsbooks release their odds on Thursday.

Miami Dolphins

Brock Osweiler has done well in his two starts with five touchdowns and only 2 interceptionso. This should make three straight good games as the Texans have been very good against the run but have been beatable in the air. The down side for Osweiler is that he will be without two of his receivers in Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson. The big question will be how much time he has to throw against Texans defense that can get to the passer. The running game is a split between Kenyan Drake and Frank Gore, with Drake getting slightly more snaps.. Last week Drake had six carries for 72 yards and a touchdown. Both backs can run but I like Drake to be in more because he is the better receiving back and the Texans should be able to slow down or stop the Miami running game. At receiver, Danny Amendola will benefit from being the only healthy wideout. Last week he had six receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown. I also have DeVante Parker getting a nice share of the targets on Thursday. There are no tight ends that standout for Miami.

Miami Dolphins Prop Bet Picks

Brock Osweiler Passing Yards over 261 (-118)

Brock Osweiler Passing Yards over 281 (+133)

Brock Osweiler Completions over 24 (+100)

Houston Texans

The Houston Texans are riding a four-game winning streak. However,  Deshaun Watson had only 12 completions on 24 attempts last week against the Jaguars. He passed for only 139 yards and a touchdown. I don’t see any reason for improvement this week and if he doesn’t improve soon. Texans fans may start to wonder if they should have stuck with Brock. Lamar Miller looked good against the Jaguars rushing 22 times for 100 yards and a touchdown. If your quarterback is in trouble and you are going against a team with a mediocre offense. Run the ball and run some more. I like Miller to get plenty of touches against the Dolphins. DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller will get the targets but i just can’t see a lot of receptions with this offense. Hopkins is still in play on yardage props with his big play ability.

Texans Prop Bet Picks

Lamar Miller Rushing Yards over 83 (+121)

Lamar Miller Rushing Yards over 93 (+171)
