Chiefs vs Cowboys NFL Player Prop Betting Preview

Kansas City Chiefs

Quarterback Alex Smith continues to put up good numbers thanks to all the weapons at his disposal. The Cowboys defense will have to decide if they want to get beat by the run or the pass but they don’t have the ability to stop both. Kareem Hunt had 22 carries last week and Andy Reid loves to use him for both running and receiving. The Dallas rush defense has been a Jekyll and Hyde unit but overall it ranks 30th in DVOA and has allowed 4.5 yards per carry on the year.
This could be one of those Tyreek Hill spots. Dallas also has had trouble stopping tight ends. In other words…the Cowboys have a weak defense and will have to garner turnovers if they are going to stop the Chiefs. The Dallas defense will need to take risks and that will open up the big plays for the Chiefs offense.

Tyreek Hill has 55 targets,  38 receptions, 553 yards with  3 TD

Opp. Def vs. Pos; Dallas Cowboys  QB 18, RB 18, WR 25, TE 3

Dallas Cowboys

Quarterback Dak Prescott will be going against a Kansas City pass defense that can best be described as average and can be beat by top wide outs. Ezekiel Elliott is going to play this week and that is not good news for a Kansas City defense that is weak against the run. Remember Dez Bryant? He should have a field day against the Chiefs defense that will need to focus on Elliott. Not to much love for Jason Witten at tight end as the Chiefs will be able to run the ball in the end zone once they are in the red zone.

Dez Bryant has 64 targets, 32 receptions, 366 yards with 4 TD’s

Opp. Def vs. Pos; Kansas City Chiefs QB 23, RB 11, WR 29, TE 13
