Saints vs Dolphins Prop Betting Preview

New Orleans Saints

So far this season Drew Brees has six touchdowns and has yet to throw an interception in three games. The Miami Dolphins have allowed a league worst 116.4 passer rating in their two games, and one of those games came against the Jets. I expect Ingram to get the most carries for the Saints in a close game and relatively high scoring game. Willie Snead returns from suspension this week but I don’t expect the Saints to give him too many targets. Michael Thomas will still be the focus of the passing game and should get a lot of targets. I like the Drew Brees and Michael Thomas option for both of them to put up good numbers for yards and touchdowns this week.

Miami Dolphins

Quarterback Jay Cutler looked as bad as ever by throwing for just 220 yards in a game against the lowly Jets. I know the Saints have a bad defense but Jay Cutler managed to make the New York Jets defense look good. Running back Jay Ajayi did not practice on Wednesday because of a knee injury but I expect him to play in his homecoming in London. Is this a bounce back spot? It might help if the offensive line was better. If you can’t run or pass then the first place to look is the line and they are a bottom tier group who will not be getting much better anytime soon. They do get the one thing a bottom tier offensive line needs to look good. A bottom tier defensive line on the other side. Receiver DeVante Parker caught a meaningless touchdown at the end of the game but it still counts in fantasy football and prop bet touchdowns. Good to know the Dolphins will go after those garbage touchdowns. I like Landry for yards but I would go with Parker if you are betting on touchdowns.
