2017 Los Angeles Chargers Futures Bet Season Win Total
You have a quarterback
The Los Angeles Chargers spent three of their seven draft picks on offensive linemen. Last year they allowed the most pass pressures in the NFL. It wasn’t a fluke. Over the last three seasons, quarterback Philip Rivers and his backups saw pressure on 732 drop-backs. That is over 100 more than 30 of the other 31 teams. The Chargers grabbed guard Forrest Lamp of Western Kentucky, whom some rated as the best lineman in the draft.
Can they stay healthy
The Chargers went 5-11 last season. They had 21 players on injured reserve, including starters such as receiver Keenan Allen, cornerback Jason Verrett and defensive tackle Brandon Mebane. They were also a team that had a habit of blowing fourth-quarter leads. They added a solid piece at the draft by taking Clemson wide receiver Mike Williams. He will add another big-body target and vertical option in the passing game for Philip Rivers to utilize. The key to the Chargers season will be the development on the offensive line and keep bodies on the field. I like the Chargers to be a 7 or 8 win team.
2017 Los Angeles Chargers Pick: No bet. I have them winning 7 or 8 games so I won’t be betting on this one. However, if you like the over or under then I have compiled a list of the odds so you know where the best sportsbook odds are.
