2017 NFL Draft Prop Bet Picks
It is that time again. The off-season NFL fix or as some call it the NFL Draft. The first round of the 2017 NFL Draft is on Thursday April 27th at 8:00pm Eastern Time. The first round should be completed on Thursday with the second round beginning on Friday. The prop betting picks are on the first round so I should no the results Friday night.
The chart below has some of the current prop betting odds on it. For more NFL prop bet odds go to our Football Odds Page.
The first bet is:
Christian McCaffrey draft position. Where would he fit in best? Lets think about who really needs a running back / wide receiver….no. Lets think about the NFL as a form of entertainment. The NFL loves one thing more than winning….money. McCaffrey would make the most money for which team? The Denver Broncos. He would fill a need on offense as a running back, kick returner and, wide receiver. He would also sale a lot of jerseys in Denver. The Buffalo Bills have the 10th pick in the draft and are looking to trade down. I have them making a deal with Denver to pick up Christian McCaffrey.
The Pick: Over 9.5
The second bet is:
DeShaun Watson draft position. Did I mention that the NFL is in the entertainment business? What team really needs to make a good impression fast? The team that Los Angeles didn’t even want. The Los Angeles Chargers are the invisible man of football. They need to do something to begin a new era in Los Angeles. With Phillip Rivers on the team it may sound like a wasted pick but the Chargers can sit him for a year and then trade Phillips next year.
The Pick: Under 25.5
