We have some really good games this weekend. If you haven’t made a prop bet on a player before but you have played daily fantasy football. It is essentially the same research with one big difference. You only have to choose the players you want. If you want to make four quarterback bets then that’s all you have to do. No need to draft players you don’t want to try and fill out a full roster. Maybe there is just one player who you really think will have a hot day. Then just straight bet him. Maybe you are like us and end up with 20 bets on some games.

Bovada Football Prop Bet Odds

Bovada has really expanded on prop betting. They are now offering “in game” prop betting. Odds will be up after the kickoff on how many yards a quarterback will throw for or will they get a first down on a drive. Even if you do not want to bet on them. Take a look at them for fun by clicking on one of the Bovada Odds links and watch the odds change on every play.

How we post our Prop Bet Picks

We primarily use three different sportsbooks. They will have different odds on the players for the same event. Now you you may have seen different odds on an NFL game before…maybe a half point. In prop betting the odds can be widely different and that is part of the opportunity. With our picks we will list the sportsbook whose odds we are using for that bet.

An example from below:

For Matt Ryan you will see the first bet listed is:

Total Interceptions by Matt Ryan (ATL)
Pick: Over ½ Interceptions (-115)
See Odds

What we are betting on is in the first line. In this case interceptions. The odds and the pick are in the second line. The third line will contain a link to the sportsbook whose odds we are using for the bet.

One last thing. There will be hundreds of prop bets posted for each game by the three sportsbooks. We do not post every one of the odds here. We post the ones we are betting on. If there is a bet or a player who you do not see listed here. Just click on one of the sportsbook links and it will take you to the prop betting odds.

Quarterback Prop Betting Picks

This game should be fun to watch. Two hot quarterbacks going against two defenses that can give up the big pass play. The last time these two teams played in October, Matt Ryan was 27/42 for 335 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Russell Wilson had a day for himself going 25/37 for 270 passing yards. With Seattle’s injuries in the secondary and Russell Wilson’s ankle healed. I don’t expect anything less from these guys.
